Our planets
The children of the 6th Year of primary had to choose between two projects
- A mural about the eight planets of our solar system.
- Invent a planet, describe it and write about the creatures living there.
But the children are so creative that
One group of pupils made a solar system model and took it in turns to talk about the planets in front of the whole class instead of making the mural.
Another group acted out a theater play, related to the planets, whose script had been writen by one of the members of the group . The script has been modified and the play will be performed for all primary in May or June
And four groups chose the second project. Here are their works

Puss in Boots

The children of the 6th year of Primary were given one of the various versions of Puss in boots to read it out loud in the English class.

Then a group of children volunteered to perform it in front of the pupils of 5th Primary on the 23rd April (the Book Day) . In the end they performed it for the 4th primary. After the performance they were asked to write a short summary of the tale to be published in this blog as soon as they gave it to the teacher. Here are some



Puss in Boots by Maite Sáenz de Pipaón




There was a man that had 3 sons and when he died he gave his possesions to his sons. He gave the best to the oldest sons and his cat to the youngest.

The youngest son was very sad but the cat said that if he gave him a pairs of boots and a bag he would become rich. When the boy gave the cat the boots and the bag he went to hunt rabbits to take them to the king. When the cat was in the palace he said to the king that the rabbits were from the Marquis of Carabas.

One day the cat told the Marquis to go into the river And when the king passed by the river with his daughter, the cat asked for help because his master was drowing. The king gave very beautiful clothes to the Marquis, then the cat got a palace for the Marquis and he married the princess.

There was a miller who had 3 sons. When he died, he gave all what he had to the oldest sons, and he gave the cat to the youngest son.


The cat said to his master that he wanted a pair boots and Puss in boots went to the warren to hunt rabbits and he gave the rabbits to the king.


One day, the king wanted to visit the Marquis of Carabas's palace. Marquis of Carabas was Puss in Boots` master.


The day that the king went to visit the Marquis of Carabas, he saw the Marquis in the river saying “help”. It was not real. Then, the king´s attendants rescued the Marquis and gave him clothes .


Then, Puss in boots gave instructions to the mowers and he told them that they said to the king, when he asked them, that the fields were from the Marquis of Carabas. Later on, he went to the ogre’s palace and killed the ogre saying to the ogre if he could change into a mouse. The ogre changed into a mouse and Puss in boots ate it. In the end the king’s daughter married Puss in boots'

An old man died and he gave a few things to his children. He gave a cat to the little child.
In one palace lived an ogre and the cat went to kill him. The ogre became a lion but the cat proposed a deal to decieve him. The cat said he could not become a small animal for example a mouse. Oger turned into a mouse and the cat ate it. And all the farms, the palace and the possessions were for the Marquis of Carabas.
